# 1: The philosophy of my naturopathic anti-cancer protocol
I have lived beyond my expiration date… twice. In 2012 and again in 2013, I was told I would be dead within weeks from Stage IV breast cancer. I’ve regained 99% mobility after losing full use of both legs and an arm and told I likely wouldn’t walk again. I have been NEAD (no evidence of active disease) since May 2014… but I am still considered ‘terminal’ by doctors. I ski, hike, scuba dive, etc. and look and feel better than before cancer. Everyone wants to know how I did it, hoping for a magic silver bullet. I don’t believe there is one. But I strongly believe that you can take charge of your healing and defy odds. This is my naturopathic anti-cancer protocol and the philosophy behind it.
I employed western medicine and an intensive naturopathic anti-cancer protocol. I am convinced that without both, I would not have accomplished my miracles. Tumors riddled my lungs, liver, lymph, every vertebrae and my entire pelvic girdle. Some gave me two weeks to live. My son was overseas and wouldn’t be home for two months. NO one thought I could make it that long. I threw everything at outliving my dire prognosis. Not expecting to have the success I did, I was simply buying time to say goodbye to my son. I felt I needed chemo and radiation to ‘blast the barnacles off the hull’ and said, “Give me everything you’ve got.”
